Quince has been busy.
During the past two years, thanks to our Commissioning Fund, as well as Chamber Music America and Fromm Music Foundation, we’ve been able to fund 10 new works for treble voice quartet.
Now we just need the final push to fund production costs. Can you help us make this music a reality?
THE PLAN
Now that we can start planning for the future, Quince is eager to premiere new works in-person, some of which have been in the works for almost 7 years! The commissions are paid for, but in order to effectively share them with the world, we need to raise funds to produce multiple shows in cities throughout the United States during Spring 2022. We need to raise at least $5,000 to cover the final costs.
THE COMPOSERS
The composers featured on our season approach the voice with fearlessness, sensitivity, and imagination, crafting groundbreaking works for treble voice quartet. Our collective dream is to perpetually expand our understanding of the vocal instrument while contributing timeless pieces to the vocal chamber music canon, and this list of composers will do just that.
